after the SCAD presentation MCAD was knocked down a peg and i completely forgot about emerson. and after today i think MCAD was knocked down AGAIN! i very much like the art institute of Colorado actually. its illustration and media arts places although without sequential art, are getting very good reviews and the campus has a very nice feel to it. after seeing it and talking to representatives i discovered that it also is like a 4th of the cost of MCAD and a 3rd of SCAD. but i still REALLY want to go to scad so i think i will shoot for scad with my backup settle colleges as AI then UW. MCAD is to expensive and if i can go to MCAD i dont see what would stop me from SCAD. and the teachers at AI are amazing!!!!
i had my portfolio reviewed and strangely it was completely different from SCAD reps. he liked my shading A LOT and didn't think i should do anything to any of my pieces. the only piece of advice he gave was to stop sketching so much because it presents the thought that i have a very unsure hand and am hesitant in my art work. and thats the only bad thing he thought about my portfolio!! he thought that i would do really well in AI! that means i'm worthy. -dances-
on another note, i was walking down the hallway and i saw this guy with a lanyard with AI on it which meant he was a teacher and when i asked him something he turned around and guess what was on his shirt? ZOMBIE FELLA OF OUR VERY OWN DA!!!!! it was amazing and i fell in love with him on first bloody amazing fella site! but this was random and you need not read any further (particularly because there are no words after this save for the affirmation of no words being further on which is immediately null and void seeming as this explanation is here thus making this explanation contradictory and me a hypocrite but for realz, now there are no words further....just a symbol....damn i lied again....ok, other then a symbol, there are no characters any further)
